One of the major problems business owners face is caused by not knowing how the clients actually felt about the service provided. And not knowing is often a combination of not asking for reviews and feedback, and also not really wanting to know.
I always recommend ending each client project with a simple ask to write a review. It can be a public one, such as a Google My Business review or a LinkedIn review (great place if you are in B2B!), or a private one that you can insert into your website and social media.
Don’t leave it for later
Ask for the review when the client is all glowing and excited about the results you just have provided! This needs to be part of your offboarding process. When you wrap up the project, maybe you’ve had the big project reveal, or you end a course – ask for the review right away.
